Sports
From the youngest pony riders to experienced competitors in top-level show jumping, the Bexter Hof Open offers an impressive range of classes. We’re especially proud to once again host para-dressage competitions. The event brings together national and international riders, up and coming talents, and young athletes. Supporting the next generation has always been a core value at Bexter Hof. Here, young riders experience professional competition in an inspiring setting.
Ambience
Take a break and soak in the idyllic atmosphere of the picturesque Bexter Hof estate. Stroll through our exhibitor village, enjoy regional specialties, and relax. For our younger guests, the kids’ area with a bouncy castle, bubble machine, and Hobby Horsing promises plenty of fun!

Day of Generations
Equestrian sport at its best brings young and old together. On our “Day of Generations,” we warmly welcome guests from retirement and care homes in the region for an afternoon of coffee, cake, and thrilling show jumping.
At the same time, our youngest riders show off their skills in the leadline class or take their very first steps toward the horse through pony rides.
Best Behaviour Award
Each competition day, we honour one rider with the Best Behaviour Award, someone who treats their horse and everyone around them with outstanding fairness and respect.
Now more than ever, this matters: setting an example in how we care for our equine partners and in how we treat fellow riders, parents, and event staff alike.
Para-Dressage
Inclusion in action: We’re committed to raising visibility for para-dressage and encouraging its integration into mainstream sport. After last year’s success, we’re proud to once again feature para-dressage competitions, promoting acceptance and awareness across all levels of equestrian sport.
Friendship Tour
For the second time, the centerpiece and absolute highlight of the Bexter Hof Open: The Friendship Tour offers young riders from Germany and around the world the unique chance to combine an exclusive visit to the CHIO Aachen with a full training stay in Herford. The grand finale of the week is the individual and team jumping events at the Bexter Hof Open.
A week of riding together, experiencing international teamwork and cultural exchange, using foreign languages, discovering new cultures, and making lifelong friendships through a shared love and passion for horses. „Global Friendships First“: our guiding principle in action.
